The image I uploaded is an art installation of a 3D Digital Water Curtain which was displayed in the Museum of Science and Industry in Paris. The original idea of the piece was by Shiro Takatani and Richard Castelli and curated by Richard Castelli. The image of the piece was taken by Arnaud Robin.
This piece of art utilizes the computer software programing as well as flow visualization. Lighting on the piece also can make the water any color. I enjoy the endless possibility of creation of this piece. With a change in the software, the pice can go from creating a human body to the visual swirls you see before you. You can tell the child in the image is mesmerized by the dynamic changing installation.
