This image is very unique because it uses important properties of fluid flow to create an intricate design of a flower that is full of contrasting colors. The contrasting colors help to depict the physics going on in the image, and we can clearly see the fluctuations in the flow, and trace back to the initial impact of the dye. It gives a sense that the flower is actually growing, and the symmetry is amazing. I believe gravity takes a large role for the patterns depicted in the image, and mixing is beginning to occur between the dye and the water as we see buoyant forces in action.
