Nice timing on everything. I’m sure this took a lot of hard work to make! I’m not totally sure if I see a flow being represented in this, but a cool video nonetheless. Very effective videographic technique, really nice contrast of light to dark.
1. Extremely artistic, dramatic, and well composed.
2. The flow control is very well done.
3. The technique, music, and capture of the work is fantastic.
Very dramatic, you can tell you have a strong passion for performing laser shows. The set up was well done and the show was very well done. The beams are mesmerizing.
This is a great example of music enhancing the laser show! That was incredibly simultaneous! It must have taken a long time to program all of those lasers and the music to create a show worthy of the word “performance.” The only adjustment I would recommend: make the actual fluid flow more visible. In this case, it would be the flow of the fog medium.
This laser show matched perfectly with the music. I really liked how this was technique was different that what we have been seeing in the class. Great work!
The choreography between the motion of the lasers and the music is excellent. The different laser patterns are also very interesting. I do think this could use a little more in the way of flow physics. Maybe these projectors could be used to create light sheets to illuminate a flow that has some kind of dynamic behavior like visualizing mixing in a turbulent jet.
-Awesome effects from the lasers that really enhance the soundtrack
-The fog really enhances the lasers and makes them have a large presence
-Good focus and cool contrast range by using a dark room
Really cool Theo, I like your different interpretation of flow. I appreciate the amount of time you took for the show.
I enjoy the pairing of music and lasers. The way the lasers move with the music gives the video a visually and acoustically pleasing effect. The lasers are very distinct. Photography wise a strong black background or stronger contrast between the lasers and the background would have been useful.
Unique and awesome work of art. The visual effects corresponded with the music perfectly. Difficult to reproduce and uses fog as a medium to see the light. Definitely aesthetically pleasing and a full range of colors.
Very exciting sequence! This belongs in the final sequence of a Zach Snyder film :). I have seen lots of laser elements used at shows and this is very well done.
This is amazing! Very dramatic and music + laser movements were spot on. It’s very clear and easy to see where the lasers are pointing and going.
Art: The color contrast between the background and the laser colors.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The sequencing of the laser show is great.
Well done video. The timing on between the projectors and music is masterfully done. The mirroring really adds to the show as well. One thing in the future though would be to try and use a room with a neutral background, since in certain times during the video, when the projectors get particularly bright, the background can distract from the show.
Really cool setup and laser show. This could benefit from a darker background so when the room lights up it still gives the effect of coming out of the darkness.
Super cool and unique display. The way the fog moves through the laser beams makes the beams seem fairly fluid which is nice. I did notice the beams almost seemed to move too fast for the camera shutter at times, which led to some interesting curved artifacts sometimes, although that could have been on purpose, I’m not sure.
Interesting take on flow. Nice change in colors. Creative technique. Lasers are in good focus.
The lights are well timed with the music. The colors worked well together and provided a visually stimulating experience. The background was slightly distracting, perhaps a black sheet or similar would remedy any unwanted lighting.
Very dramatic. Very appealing. I feel like I could take on the world. The colors and the music were very cool.
Art: The lasers were an amazing effect. How it timed with music was incredible
Flow: The mixing colors of the colored beams were stunning.
Photography: Maybe make the background a little more plain.
1. Cool show ! intents and interesting
2. the background was the only distracting element
3. the beams are stunning
