I love the golden color, but the clouds are overexposed, so you can’t tell quite what is going on. Messing with the curves or using an HDR image would help.

I like how the cloud blends in with the white background, it makes it a little mysterious

Very interesting photo. Interesting perspective from a very well known photo location. Maybe try and somehow boost the colors in the foreground grass

The colors here are amazing. I feel the cold, autumn temperature and emotions associated there. The clouds are also very interesting, and highlighted well with the washed out sky.

I really like how the cloud seems to hide the flatirons. The focus on this picture was spot on. Great work!

Very cool capturing a stratus cloud coming over the Flatirons. I really like the gold of the grass and white of the sky, really feels like a crisp fall morning. Incredible how the cloud has a slight blue veil around its edges. I would say keep this image exactly how it is. Originally I thought the fence was a little distracting, but I decided I really like it. Definitely feels like Boulder in the fall. Great job!

Nice job capturing a different cloud phenomenon. Good choice for a foreground also. This is a difficult type of sky to photograph. I’ve never been able to retain the details I want in the brights and the shadows. If you shot a Raw image you could try an HDR but I’m not sure that it would produce a believable photo.

I like the way you have structured the photo including the field and fence, the focus on the clouds brings out the flatirons well and its impressive you captured this with an iphone.

    1. Artistically very boulder. Nice shot.
    2. The flow is clearly demonstrated.
    3. The photographic technique is well done.

Art: The color contrast between the grass and the dark mountains and lighter clouds is fantastic.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and easily recognized.
Photographic technique: The depth of field for this piece is really well done with the focus of the grass and on the clouds being relatively sharp.

I like the color in this image. The cloud seems to be a rolling fog which gives it a nice touch.

Nice wide angle shot. The subject is gorgeous. The sky is a little washed out.

The colors of the foreground is exceptional and the focus is sharp. I love when the Flatirons just barely poke out of a blanket fog.

I really enjoy this image. The hovering cloud/fog around the flatirons gives it a mysterious feel. This reminds me of movies where they show their destination and the lurking danger they will entail as they move towards the mountains. The golden grass is a fantastic touch.

I like the way the clouds cover the mountains and look like they are descending down on boulder. nice work catching this with your phone and good contrast in the image.

Wonderful gloomy vibe to this picture! The image isn’t too bleak nor is it overly saturated. The colors are on point.

Amazing image of the flatirons. Seems like either fog or status clouds are covering the mountains. Beautiful image

The saturation is a nice touch. The field looks gold with this effect that really offsets the otherwise uninteresting flog space. I like how the fog hangs off the flatirons.

Beautiful photo, I love all the colors, particularly the yellow field. The stark white of the clouds provides a beautiful contrast. It would be nice to be able to see a little more cloud.

Beautiful photo. Awesome mix of colors. Did you white out the rest of the sky around the cloud?

Nice saturation in this image, the colors really pop. The mountain just barely peaking out through the clouds adds a nice visual effect. The only piece i feel is a little distracting is the fence in the foreground, possibly consider cropping that out.

    – Great photo!
    – Very clear, the white appears very bright in this image which helps show contrast, but is a little bit overwhelming.
    – Focus is well resolved and colors come out nicely especially the rocks on the Flat Irons.
