The range of orange and red tones in this image are nice. Fluid physics wise I don’t find it particularly revealing though.
The color saturation lends tot he balance of the overall image because it contrasts the very dark background. The blended edges are fun for the image, even though it does not necessarily enhance the focus on the fluid flow.
Great idea to put water and dry ice inside the pumpkin. The fog and fake blood dripping down the pumpkin’s teeth really add to the horror feel, and the whole spirit of Halloween. I really like the large contrast between the black background and the light yellows and oranges inside the pumpkin’s mouth. This image should be the cover of the next Halloween movie. Also, great job capturing this image when the droplet is creating a long ligament. These are interesting, unique takes at a carved pumpkin. Great job keeping up with the holiday season!
I like the blood running down what appears to be a cotton stand. The image had great contrast as well. Could remove the background for a better image.
Superb image. I love the contrast between the blurry bottom teeth and the sharp upper teeth. Great choice cropping the image and focusing on the mouth. Colors are great. The drops of blood flowing off the teeth are the icing on the cake.
Really eerie looking image! I like the fog rolling out of the pumpkins mouth and the droplet coming down from the teeth.
Pretty cool image of fire…Good background and great constract. Interesting and enjoyable photos.
Very eerie image. I really like the droplets on the teeth because its very easily seen against the vibrant background. Its interesting how the dry ice only escaping through that last tooth. Seems to be just a tad bit grainy where the yellow turns into orange. Great photo nonetheless.
1. This image is artistically perfect for Halloween and I like the focus on the teeth drooling.
2. The fluid is well shown.
3. The photographic technique is very well done and the composition and vibrant glowing colors are perfect.
Spooky pumpkin theme is so festive!! Love it! Love the contrast of bright orange and the dark colors. Love that you can see the texture of the liquid on the teeth. The droplet really makes the picture, draws your eye to it. Photo is a little grainy but I think that gives it a spooky feel so it works!
Very clean, crisp focus. The lighting of the pumpkin is very dramatic and I really like the warm colors of the photo.
Nice photo! The thick smoke coming out of the pumpkin in the background is nice in contrast to the droplet. The reflection of the fluid on the front face is also a nice tough to add texture to the photo. Nice coloring, maybe a wee bit grainy.
Nice detail and focus. Good choice in color. Nice addition of the fog to go with the fake blood. I like the angle used. No distracting elements.
Funny image. The fake blood is blending well with the pumpkin and it kind of looks like the pumpkin itself is melting.
I like the eerie feel from the image. I think the flow could be a bit more resolved and clear in this photo. The focus seems to be on the teeth as opposed to the droplet or the fog.
The shiny liquid on the upper teeth of the jack-o-lantern makes it look extra creepy, which is a fun mood for the image. The saturation feels a little bit over the top, although it did do a good job bringing out the orange halloween-ey vibe. Maybe try some exterior lighting to illuminate the fog that is coming out of the pumpkin, as it is kind of hard to see as is.
Art: The color contrast between the inside of the pumpkin and the fog coming out of the mouth is great.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus on the pumpkin and the drops of fake blood are well done.
– Great photo Brett!
– I like how you can see the blood on the surface of the other teeth.
– The glow from the pumpkin provides a nice Halloween feel to it.
I like this image! The fog is interesting. The image is a bit grainy but the colors are great
I like the glossy feel on the teeth, it is a little grainy but you fulfill your intent of focusing on the teeth and creating a cool but creepy image.
I like the color in the photo and how there are droplets on multiple teeth. interesting to see the other droplets attached to a potential string.
Black background adds nicely to the image. Glow on the teeth adds a visually pleasing effect. Well focused image, nice job.
A lot of cool things happening in this photo. The drop of blood, the spilling of the water vapor. the reflection on the front of the pumpkin. Focus is good. The picture is very dramatic. lots of energy.
Really cool depth of focus in this image. My only suggestion is to maybe play with selectively brightening the fog coming out of the mouth of the pumpkin. I feel that the fog flow is hard to spot with the low contrast.
