I like that you were able to get the contrast such that you only see the light glowing out of the holes in the pumpkin. I don’t know that I get that much from this fluids wise but it is a neat photo.

It should be relatively easy to remove the background, if that is your goal. The focus and resolution are well visualized in the image. One can actually see the fake blood pooled up on the teeth of the pumpkin.

Great idea to put water and dry ice inside the pumpkin. The fog and fake blood dripping down the pumpkin’s teeth really add to the horror feel, and the whole spirit of Halloween. I really like the large contrast between the black background, the darker orange in the mouth, and the light yellows and oranges inside the pumpkin’s eyes. This image also could be the cover of the next Halloween movie. Also, great job capturing this image when the droplet is creating a long ligament. These are interesting, unique takes at a carved pumpkin. Great job keeping up with the holiday season!

The pumpkin is well blended in with the background. I love the light coming in from inside giving it a great contrast.

This is my favorite series of Team 1 images so far. I think it was a good choice in the other images to focus on the teeth and the drops of fluid but I also love seeing the eyes of this jackolantern; adds more personality to the image. Great pumpkin carving by the way. The focus is not as sharp in your image compared to the others.

I really enjoy the completely black background and how the colors just come right out. The droplets are very well orchestrated. Great photo.

Really nice background! I like how all you see is the pumpkin face emerging from the darkness. The fake blood dripping down from the teeth adds a nice touch to.

The glow you captured in the pumpkin is really cool. Crisp focus and cool effects Marcus.

Art: The color contrast between the background and the pumpkin is fantastic. The bright light coming from inside of the pumpkin contrasts great with the black background.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus on the pumpkin is great and the lighting surrounding the pumpkin is well done.

I like how you can’t really see the shape of the pumpkin, makes it look like the face is just popping out of the darkness. The contrast is beautiful and I love the yellow to orange color gradient. The drops are nicely in focus and the rest of the graininess adds to the image in my opinion.

Nice coloring. The blown out flame is a little distracting but at least doesn’t detract from the visualization of the flow. The high contrast and the outline of the cutouts look good, the 4 or 5 distinct colors here create a really clean feeling image.

Good contrast, the way you blacked out the pumpkin made this look extra cool. I like how it’s immediately recognizable as a jack-o-lantern without being able to see the pumpkin silhouette. I like the theme your group went with

    – Great photo Marcus.
    – I like the how you can see the candle light in the middle where the nose is it really illuminates it well.
    – The flow is very noticeable here and is scary!

I like the image, but for the purpose of the class I feel like the flow is not the focus of the image. I think the lighting draws the focus away from the flow and too the eyes.

Scarry! I like the only using the candle for a light source. It is a bit grainy .

Photo has a great Halloween feel. Beautiful contrast in color. The fog helps make the facial features glow. It is a little hard to see the fluid flow, but still love the overall feel of the image.

Excellent full black background and pumpkin body. Might want to remove the white sides from the image in the future, it distracts from the photo. Contrast and flow creates an eerie effect, well done.

Best photo I have ever seen. The colors just POP off the page. Teach me your ways. The focus is good. The carving is excellent. The drips are really perfectly lined up. Good photo

Really cool and festive photo! my only negative comment would be that the flow isn’t really the focus of the photo. Otherwise like it a lot.
