Great idea making a video. The dynamics of the flame are so interesting and seldom displayed like this. I love that the background is totally black, it gives the flame a life and makes it seem as if they are appearing out of thin air. It has a sort of Sleeping Beauty feel (from when the Maleficent is a dragon and trying to burn down everything). That’s my favorite movie from childhood, so it really resonated with me. Well done!
I really enjoyed watching this video. The dynamics of the bulbous projections of the flame surface are interesting to see in slow motion. You may try updating how the video is posted, it currently seems to just be attached as a file instead of linked as a video.
Very cool video! I really appreciate the choice to use slow motion video to capture this color phenomena. Seems like the fumes from those flames could be toxic, but i don’t know. The colors created by the flames are really cool.
very well done. The table salt is an excellent touch. And I agree with others, the video did make me kind of dizzy.
The salt almost looks like fireworks. The developing parabolic pattern is fascinating. The panning motion is nice but it is slightly bumpy.

Possibly crop out reflection? in upper right corner. Well focused on the fire. Colors are vibrant, nice job. Also, consider a stationary camera in the future.
I really like the color you captured in the flame and the crackling effect at the base of the flame as the salt grains catch fire.
1. The video is great, and the movement of the flames and the camera really work well artistically.

Great mixing of color throughout the flame. Interesting flow as the flame rises. I like the choice of making a slow motion video really helps show how the flame forms.
Really cool video, looks like there’s 2 fires? Being able to see all the color interactions is awesome. Love the bits of orange coming into the mix. Camera seems to be moving around the fires, would have been nice to see it still so the focus would be more on the flames.
Really intriguing to watch the slow motion video of this flame. Interesting to see all of the shapes that are naturally occurring and the smooth edges to all of the shapes in the flames.
This was creative way of creating contrasting colors in the flame. The slow-motion video also helps to illustrate the physics of the flame. I think a solo flame may have actually been less distracting than the double flame, since the second flame goes in and out of the frame.
beautiful color. The focus is good and the contrast is great. The film moving around is a bit distracting.
The flows of the green flames are pleasant to watch and how they form “chutes” right before the structure of the flame is lost. Good focus and lighting
Wow your video had a crazy effect on me, kinda disorienting and gave me vertigo. Good job with the color capture and dynamic range. Maybe using a tripod would prevent the disorienting nature, but it is kinda cool. Sodium flashes were a nice touch also.
