Here is a water balloon popping and there seems to be some kind of Worthington jet coming out of the top! Very cool.

Really cool physics happening here. Once the balloon has retreated, so to speak, it looks like the water is some type of exploding jello. The speed works really well, too.
Very cool to see how a seam forms and is pulled open around the water. The fine spray pulled off the surface of the body of the water reveals the high shear there. Good lighting and focus.
Art: The contrast between the background and the balloon is great, the slow motion capturing of the balloon popping was fantastic.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus and the depth of field used in this piece was perfect.
Awesome video, really love how yours is slower, lets me appreciate all the little details more. Awesome focus. Love the little droplets that are sparkling. Everything has a pinkish tint which is interesting.
I like how you slowed your video down substantially. The phenomenon that you mentioned about the jet shooting up the surface of the nail is really cool as well.
Great high quality slow motion video. Nice lighting. Helps make the water sparkle. Interesting to see how water reacts when you pop a balloon.
Very good detail on the shearing force, and the little spout at the nail is extremely interesting. Possibly try keeping the first couple of seconds to give the viewer a better understanding instead of showing the pop in the first second.
Nice video, it’s interesting to see the jet going up the nail, that’s some interesting flow, nice job catching it!
You captured a really cool effect! I’m intrigued by the water jet that climbs up the nail as the video progresses. Music and a little bit longer of a lead in to the nail popping the balloon would be nice!
I really like the symmetry of this video, and how the small droplets are ejected from the balloon surface after it pops. nice lighting and good focus.
The level of detail provides a completely unique perspective into the dynamics occurring during in the video. Adding a voice over or some kind of sound would be nice, in my opinion. Also adding a tittle slide and/or few seconds to the beginning of the video would be useful because it allows the viewer to understand the context of your video before all the action has occurred.
1. The video is very artistic.
2. The fluid physics are well shown.
3. The technique is very nice.
I really like how the balloon splits right down the seam in the front of the balloon. Cool video to see how the balloon pulls back around the water.
Really awesome video! It is super cool to see this phenomena slowed down to this point where so much detail is revealed.
Think about adding sound to your videos! I thought it was unique how you had water flowing up the needle. Think you might have overdone it on the color, your hand looks weirdly pink.
Someone in your group needs to put sound on it. Absolutely amazing capture of a stunning worthington jet.
I like this video. Music, would be nice. That air bubble makes an interesting affect.
Really interesting to see a jet forming and climb up the nail. The video is well focused and has enough light, good job. Possibly consider cropping in a little from the sides to bring the focus even more onto the balloon.
