The splash of red on the droplet combined with the soft lighting works really, really well together. Perhaps consider speeding up less interesting portions of the video to really highlight the physics that the naked eye would normally miss. The music and timing is really well done, which is hard to do. Great job.
Very cool video. The quality of the slow motion is quite remarkable. I am very impressed with the continuous focus that was achieved on the base of the flow.
Art: The contrast between the background and the fluid could be a bit more dramatic, but the collision of the jet and droplet is great.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The depth of field used in this piece is well done, it really makes this fascinating.
Nice slow motion video. I really like how the sheet of fluid from the collision slides down the column of the Worthington Jet. I’m surprised to say that I think the video is almost too slow however.
So cool. Nice work timing the video and the music. the impact of the second droplet and the jet is stunning and the web it creates almost looks like it takes down the rest of the jet
Music goes perfectly with the video! especially when the drops collide. Beautiful video. Love how crisp and clear it is. Love that you captured the droplet colliding on top of the other.
spectacular effect captured! nice work, this must have taken a lot of patience and attempts! The surface tension effects are very nicely captured. is this 29.97fps ? A few sequences seemed a bit jittery to me.
Amazing how much detail there is in the Worthington Jet. No distracting elements. I like how you were able to move the jet closer to the middle. I also like the reflection of the initial splash.
The lighting is well done and the high fps during the second droplet is fantastic. Very well controlled experiment to hit that second droplet with the peak of the worthington jet.
When the two droplets collide, the water cone looks like a mushroom. I’m intrigued by the surface at the basin/dimple of the jet, as it creates a non-uniform surface.
This video is well done and the sharp focus is what makes the image. It reminds me of a plant growing in fast-forward as it bursts upward from the surface.
Really cool video, the music was well timed and added to the video. The impact of the second drop is very interesting to see in slow motion.
Great shot. The focus is perfect. Higher contrast would be a nice aesthetic to the image, but incredible none the less. The slight amount of color is a nice addition. Coloring the water could be a nice addition as well.
This video is beautiful and the music is great. The focus is amazing and contrast is good.
The video is well focused and the flow is clearly seen. Amazing how the second droplet was captured hitting the top of the Worthington jet.
Really enjoy the second droplet striking the jet when it comes up. the detail in the video is excellent. very nice for visualization of the flow.
The 2nd droplet hitting the jet was very nice to see. I think the background color could’ve been changed but that probably requires higher working knowledge with video editing.
Very nice professional looking video. Super neat capture of this phenomena and it is perfectly illustrated in this video.
the music syncs up with the second impact is a very good effect. Beautiful work
Art: Great colors
Flow: I really like the collision of the droplets, it is very clearly illustrated
Technique: I like that this video is slower than some of the others in your group because it helps illustrate the collision
Nice clear video. Wow that’s a high frame rate! Good music choice and timing! Quality quality video.
Well focused video, the background has a few distracting dots here and there but overall provides good contrast. Really interesting to see the direct collisions of a jet with another droplet. Contrast and lighting well done.
