Flow runs from left to right over a weir: a hump in the water forms due to the Venturi effect, causing folds in the water surface to form, and the reflection of the weir is detracted.

The flows look wrinkly then it bumps then becomes laminar. I think the fluid phenomenon (Venturri Effect) was somewhat unexpected and well imaged. The colors look warm and wood-like. Apparently putting your hand on the flash is a good technique for getting that color.
I love the flow that is occuring in this image. I would like it if the background was softened a little more as well.
I wish the depth of field could have been deeper to better see what flow I am looking at. The focus seems to be about right where it should be- showcasing the flow. The exposure could be a little bit greater to showcase some of the flow that is lost in the shadows.

I really appreciate the aesthetics and the physics of this flow. I wonder what other flow geometries could be created using a device similar to the ITLL flume.
The motion is really nice, a true flow! I love the rippling effect and the color gradient across the wood. The focus seems a bit off, some of the crests are a little blurry, but overall good composition and clear intent.
It clearly illustrated phenomena with understandable flow. I think the picture was interesting.

The overall aesthetic is interesting. The colors are quite beautiful. Focusing the front ripples was a good choice since that’s the largest phenomenon here.
The flow is really cool. I also like the colors and the lighting in good. This reminds me of the ocean when the tide is low and tide pools form.
I think cropping it a little more might be helpful, to get rid of the top and bottom of the image.

Beautiful colors and flow demonstration. I think the focus is a little off though, playing with manual focus and a faster shutter speed might have promoted a little more clarity.
The picture is interesting to look at and the flow is demonstrated well, but I think it would be more interesting if you could introduce some more color into the picture. It would be interesting to see a flow like this if you could put some florescent dyes in the water.
The water is slithery like that of a snake. Interesting to see all the light that is diffracted from the surroundings due to the rippling of the water flow.
Cool effect, maybe adjust the focus/aperture speed so we can see more of the effect.

The visualization of the flow in this image is fantastic. The contrast in color could be changed a bit and would make the image look better in my opinion. The rippling on the surface of the water is very cool.
Good flow visualization. I like how the water seems to ‘wrinkle’ as it moves. The focus is on the wooden block underwater, but I wonder what the image would look like if the focus what on the water?

This is a cool example of how fluids react to other object by flowing around them. It is a little hard to know what is going on, but once it was explained it was clear
This is an awesome way to show the way water flows over different surfaces. The wrinkles are more in focus so it would have been cool to see them more zoomed in.

The ripples the water are really nice and show the flow in the flume really well. How did you get the colors in the photo? I feel like the amount of red is a bit overpowering. The focus on the ripples could be refined a bit more as well.
