This is a really cool image and the flame is in a really interesting shape. I like the framing and focus on this and the flame itself is a very warm color.

This image is awesome. The color of the burning alcohol is fantastic., although it looks slightly edited. Did you do this in photoshop? Great camerawork as well. Good job!
Pretty nice shape in the flame, but I think that sharp border might take away from what the flame really looks like. Might want to consider reducing the color processing.
Columnar instability of a buoyant jet – It looks like a hook. Kind of blurry – I think more could be said if it were sharper. But the colors are vibrant!
The contrast and framing are really good. Do you think you could get better time resolution with a faster shutter speed?
Is this real? It almost looks as if the flame was outlined and made into a musical note shape.
The curves and the curls off of the rag is interesting! The contrast is great, a little more detail in the flame could be beneficial but that artistic approach could also be what you are going for.
I like it. I like the shape, I’d really like to learn more about the setup. It looks like Maui’s hook from Moana.
In computational fluid dynamics, it is a great compliment to have a simulation visualization confused with experimental observations. This kinda of looks like a representation of a computer simulation.

Very striking shape, great framing and dark background keeps the focus on the subject. The flame ha a very interesting orange outline, I don’t know whether this was natural or a result of postprocessing, but it makes it seem a little artificial.
The curling effect of the flame is really cool! I did not know that a flame was capable of creating a vortex in such a manner and your image clearly illustrates that phenomenon.
Very interesting image! I love the shape of the flame, but the colors seem kind of flat. This works fine in the image, but I wonder how a less edited flame would look like.
The shape is really stunning, along with the colors. It looks a bit oversaturated, but that works to it’s advantage in some places, like along the edges. Nice contrast, and fun to look at.

The flame itself has a really unique shape. it almost looks painted or fake because the edges are so clear. Also, if you could enlarge the image size on the website post, that would allow it to be clear as it was shown in class.

This flame is super cool…the fact that it is curling around itself is really interesting. The image is a little over-saturated around the edges, but the colors are really nice.

Thats an amazing pattern produced by the flame. I like the flow vis. Howevre, it looks a bit too processed in photoshop, so I would dial it back on that.

It is really interesting how the flame curls perfectly, which shows in depth the flow. Did you mean for there to be a distinct red outline to the flame or is that the result of something else.
This is a very intruiging shape for a flame, not sure I’ve ever really seen anything like that before. The focus is really good, it is very crisp. This looks like it could be a logo or album cover for a rock band.
The picture seems very granulated. Did you try adjusting the focus or shutter speed of your camera when taking the picture? The color contrast between the light and dark colors is visually appealing. Did you do any editing in Photoshop?
