You captured all kinds of elements of alcohol combustion in a jug! To take this further, you could film in slow motion and zoomed in – I would like to see more of the detail in the waves that look like ocean waves.
I could watch this all day. I like the decision to keep music out of it.
Slowing it down helped envision the entire evolution of the flame.
Cool, I like the way the flame propagates. Not sure if there was an easy way to hide the hand and lighter while the flame was lit.
Impressive visualization. The video is effective in conveying the physics.
Real cool! I really like the composition. It looks like a storm cloud falling,
Really awesome video! I like how the flame creates those ripples of bumps as it travels downward.
Great video, I love how it shows the propagation of the flame through the bottle, and the slow motion really allows the behavior of the flame to be seen. Great contrast between the flame and the background.
Very cool, it was a bit dark, but you get the flame coming down, venting, and a second ignition going whoosh. Good job avoiding noise.
Cool video! I like it slowed down it really shows how the flame propagates down. Adding music could be really cool and add another effect to the video.
Really cool experiment. Videos of fire against a dark background always look so cool! Did you consider putting any music behind the video? Good editing of the contrast to make the color of the flame stand out. Overall, cool experiment and video.
This video works really well in slow motion. I enjoy the after effect of the secondary flame at the end. Did you consider editing out the beginning of the video so that it starts where the alchohol supports the flame completely.
The cellular flames look so cool! The flame is well focused, which really helps it look nice. Great contrast, and great job showing off the phenomenon. Some editing and music would be nice.
The video was a great idea for this phenomenon, I like being able to see the progression of the flame. The focus is really well done and the flame going down is very clear.
I love seeing the full progression of the burning after seeing the rest of the groups photos. I could definitely watch this on repeat all day, you did a great job capturing the beauty of the flame. Great choice to slow down the video, and I like that you shot it in the dark to show the flame better!
Really great video, think this illustrates the physics at work well. The contrast between the initial orange that fades to blue is extremely interesting.
Way cool!! I like that you can see the bottle in the beginning when the flame is lit, but then all you see is the flame.
Beautiful. Remember a title card! Really gorgeous flow and use of contrast.
I really like seeing the slow motion version of the flame. The flow is really fascinating and very hypnotic. I love the colors.
Maybe add music?
Striking and beautiful! It is amazing that these shapes can form as the flame propagates downwards. Excellent work.
Very interesting flow! I love the layers and wrinkles of flame that form in the flame as it moved down the bottle. I think slow motion was a smart choice.
The video really shows the flame propagation well. The slow motion really added a unique quality to the video and made it visually apealling
Very nice fluid flow, I like that you put it in slow motion. Overall great video, I might add some more color if possible.
Great video! The flame is perfectly captured. The color of the flame is very neat.
It’s really cool to see the actual flame propagating. Again, the background is excellent and the focus/exposure is great.
This is a beautiful capture of the fluid motion. I wouldn’t change anything, great work!
This video looks really good! The burning of the flame is clear and takes on some really appealing shapes. I think the video was taken at a good speed and overall I really like it.
Was this in real time? I like the slow progression of the flame down the bottle. It looks very organic, sort of like one of those deep sea creatures that glow.
Interesting flame flow descending towards the bottom of the glass bottle. Great focus and setup that exhibits what phenomenon is occurring.
absolutely gorgeous video. Its fun to watch the flame propagate downwards
Great focus. You captured the flow of the flame so well. It’s captivating.
