Your image reminds me of something that has been growing mold for a while. I think if you use a less harsh light than your flash, you would get a better result. I bet if you inverted the colors on a histogram, that would look nice too.
Great colors and lighting. The framing of the photo is nice but it could be just a little sharper, I think a higher quality image would show the flow a little better!
I like the idea of this image and the focus seems pretty good, but I wish that the exposure could have been lowered a little bit in order to see more detail in the flow.
The colors are very cool! I like how we can sort of tell what it is and the oil stands out very well! nice!
The colors in this picture look really cool. Really awesome example of flow visualization. There is a bit of glare coming off the glass. Did you use the built in flash from your camera? There are other ways to light the image that might have been better.
I think the flash of the camera creates a white reflection that takes away from the focus of the picture. Overall cool idea though!
This is beautiful. Maybe a darker background with some more natural light would help this image more.
Love the colors and the contrast that highlight the physics of what is occurring within the wine glass. Overall, great quality photo.
The physics behind this is really interesting. The contrast between the warm and cool colors grabs attention well. Did you consider cropping the top of the glass out.
I think the flash somewhat detracts from this image. It seems like there would have been enough light with the light at the bottom, so maybe be careful when taking this image. I like the red colors though combined with the oil.
The fluid phenomenon is really cool, and the focus good. The shadow is a bit distracting, so maybe playing with the direction of the lighting could bring the focus more onto the fluid itself. I like the few little blue droplets in the middle.
Everything in this image seems so viscous and have a clear presence in the image.
Nice lightening on the image because i like the the light go through the fluid.
Very nice colors and focus But the lighting is a bit off and distracting. Maybe adjust that and keep everything else the same.
The phenomenon here is nicely demonstrated. The image seems a little overexposed, and you can see the flash in the reflection of the glass. I like the colors though!
Very interesting picture, very colorful. Good focus, exposure and timing. Flow is understandable.
The flows are interesting, with the rising plume in the middle, but the colors seem washed out due to the lighting. Maybe play with the colors a bit to highlight the flow itself.
The idea of the image is great, the flash reflection is a little distracting. I think some editing would make this image great.
Great colors. Try touching up your focus, and exposure. A change in lighting could really help the image portray what you’re trying to display.
Art
It almost looks like old food. It nicely displays the aesthetics of oddness.
Flow
You nicely captured a buoyant jet. What did you want us to focus on?
Photographic Technique:
It’s pretty bright.
Very nice colors and flow. But the lighting is a bit off and distracting. Maybe adjust that and keep everything else the same.
The lighting seems to be overkill. The flow looks cool and the focus is good.
Great image and framing, but the lighting is too harsh and direct and washes out some of the detail of the flow. Could use more contrast between colors .
There is a lot going on, but the fiery colors make it seem reasonable. The blue color I think take away from the excitement of the photo but I really like the focus and how the flow looks.
I like the colors and the flow. The motion is captured well.
Maybe use less light and crop it more.
The focus is well done, however I think the lighting creates highlights that are a bit distracting. The background looks good though.
The cropping is done well, and the flow is interesting. The lighting and contrast might need a little adjustment, and I feel it looks a little ‘grimy’.
Nice flow interaction. Colors are neat too. The lighting is a little bright in some places which pulls your attention away from the fluid.
The colors are otherworldly! I’d really like to see what’s going on at the individual bubble level.
Great illustration of using food dyes in different density liquids and good job with the focus. I would recommend trying to fix the glare on the glass.
Very nice flow, I like how the red bubbles are looking like lava. However, try to reduce the lighting, and try to avoid having a shadow behind the glass.
The colors work extremely well in this photo. Maybe try not to include the flash on your camera next photo it is a little distracting.
This is a cool image overall, with a lot going on. The brightness is a little overbearing, a little darker may focus more on the fluid.
The lighting in this picture is a little rough. I think that the coloring could use some work as well. I don’t like the color combinations at all. Maybe try inverting the colors in photoshop?
Nice picture and I like the idea. But the brightness and the focusing could be improved.
The colors and focus are really good in this image. There are some really bright highlights that are fairly distracting. Have you thought about cropping the top of the glass? The water droplets above the fluid flow is a bit distracting as well.
The focus of the image is well done. The lighting is somewhat distracting, maybe it could be toned down a bit.
I think the lighting is a bit intense. The source is reflecting off the glass in the center and distracts from the flow.
Like the theme of the image, but would love to see a different lighting and colors. The image would have been better if it was more clear.
Nice image of mixing fluids. I like the different particle sizes, and how they interact. Great color selection for the fluids. I might reposition the light.
The flash on the glass is distracting, but the bubbles are very beautiful.
The flash reflecting off of the glass is a bit distracting. However, the idea is really fun.
While I really like the colors, the image is a bit distracting. the built-in flash has left it a bit over exposed.
There’s a lot going on in this image, but it doesn’t seem like it is. I don’t see the carbon dioxide being released but it’s astheticall pleasing.
