The fingers are certainly distracting and the image could be cropped without losing information. Maybe they give scale? It is a really good depiction of waves and air jet impinging on a foamy liquid.

This image has nice composition and technique but could benefit from some color being added.

You could have cropped the image to get rid of your hand in the picture. Did you leave your hand in there on purpose? Cool experiment and good selection of background color, shutter speed, and focus. Overall, cool image and experiment.

This is an interesting image. It’s hard to see the color that you put in the milk. I’d try to get those to pop in your next image. The focus is a little off as well.

  • I like the picture of the flow, it would be great if it was a little more in focus! I like the angle of the photograph because it shows the flow characteristics well.

Love the ripples. Bubbles are pretty involving visually. Maybe the fingers are unnecessary.

The difference in texture is interesting, but I cannot tell that food coloring is present.

The framing and focus are well done, but the fingers distract from the image.

The wrinkles within the milk give it an entirely new texture. It’s got great focus and clarity

I think a faster shutter speed might improve the photo.

The ripples of the surface are interesting. Were your fingers left in the frame of purpose.

Interesting image, I like the way you crop the image, however the finger might bring some distractions to the audience. The flow is very clear, good focus. Well done.

Nice job on framing, focus, and exposure. Air bubbles are very beautiful to see. Nice work!

The dark background with the milk is a good contrast.
    The bubbles are very intriguing.
    Great photo

Cool effect and nice capture of it. I think you could have taken your fingers out of the framing to just focus on the flow.

Good framing, although the fingers are a little distracting. Was this intentional for scale? Its difficult to see the different colors, but the image seems blurred in the center, probably from the compressed air.

    Art
I like these dynamics of a jet impinging on a liquid surface.
    Flow
The air blast caused these lovely pocket shapes. The silky wrinkles are pretty cool.
    Photographic Technique
I like the framing. The fingers give scale, but maybe they could be cropped out of the final piece. Everything is time-and-space-resolved.

Interesting phenomenon, I would consider cropping or redoing the image to remove the fingers.

The pocketing effect from the air compressor is highly compelling to look at and all the “dents” formed from the force beckons for further examination. Great job framing and focusing in this image.

I like the texture and rippling of the milk surface. It shows well how a direct air impacts a liquid surface.

The idea of the picture is cool, but the I think the focusing may be improved, but overall good picture.

I would try next time to get rid of the motion blur by using a higher shutter speed. The idea is very fun however

I think there’s a lot of potential here, maybe if the lighting was different (i.e. lit from underneath with a transparent surface) I would have also increased shutter speed.

Interesting flow you are showing. I think some cropping is in store…your hand is in the photo and I think you could easily just crop all the edges to take care of that. Good lighting as well

The framing and focus are nice and the waves created by the compressed air look really cool. I’d crop out the hand next time.

Nice fluid flow. Shorten the shutter speed to reduce motion blur. The bubbles are cool but I cant really see the food coloring.

This would be a strong piece if the surface was more in focus. The variations of the white are interesting.

The focus and fluid flow can be seen and exhibited. However, I would make sure there are no hands or fingers in the next picture you take that might distract from the subject of the image.
