Really simple idea but beautiful and interesting resulting flow. I also like the choice of no music so you can hear the water droplets.
Great idea. This video looks almost like a computer animation, I’m not sure how you did it but the way it was shot is so interesting and almost surreal.
I thought it was neat to see the hydrophobic nature of the plant at the beginning, then later the leaf of the plant cups the water.
Great video. Love the setup with the plant on the stand with the white background. nice sounds as well.
I really like your choice of using the water falling sound instead of music. The flow is really pretty and reminds one of rain on outdoor plants. This is a really calming video.
Good job, Joe! I think your setup, background, and videography was phenomenal. I enjoyed the sound of droplets.
Video was nicely done. The water bouncing off the cups was very interesting. The sound of the water dropping is great
The audio is great, I think it was a good choice to use that instead of music.
Great framerate, I really like the tranquil sound of water hitting the succulent.
It is cool to see the leaves fill up, and I llke the effect that the sound adds.
This is surprisingly well resolved and detailed. I love the unpredictability of the splashes, and the sloshing in the cups. Really nice video, and the sound adds a lot. There’s a little to be desired in the background and framing, I think it could be a little more focused, but it works well either way.
I wonder if slowing down the video more would help to visualize the flow.
My favorite part is the lighting and the composition. I like the fact you didn’t slow down the video, it has a very smooth quality.
Great video, the vertical framing really emphasizes the succulent and the vertical motion of the water. The slowed-down sound of the water really adds to the aesthetic.
The sound of the flow hitting the succulent are cool. I also like how the water comes directly at you and feels like it should hit the camera.
The water droplets were caught really well throughout the video. It is interesting the directions that the water shoots out too.
Jeez what kinda iphone do you have? Good choice not messing with the audio as the droplet sounds adds great effect to the overall video. Its framed well as it captures both the falling stream as well as the impact and splattering of the succulent contact.
Great frame crop and focus. I love how he didn’t add any music. I love how the water dropping sound makes it sound like rain.
I like how the water is spreaded by cuctus. It would be great if you use colored liquid.
Really cool flow. I love how the water pools in the ‘cups’ of the leaves. The contrast between the green plant and the bright white background really helps the viewer focus on the flow.
Your focus is awesome. I would recommend maybe filming horizontally next time if you’re still going to use an iPhone. The water jets that you get off the plant are awesome to look at. Good job!
The droplets are so clear after impacting on the succulent! Great choice of framing, mise en scene, and simply recording the sound of the water impact without music.
I like how you chose not to use music, the sound of splatter really adds to the overall effect of the video
This is a great video considering you used an iphone at slow speeds! Overall, well done and you’ve captured the fluid flow of the water off the succulent well.
Good focus in the video. The background light is a bit harsh, maybe you can bring highlights down to soften that.
Really cool video. I’d crop out the top third, its a bit too white. Overall great fluid flow and video quality.
This has great clarity and focus. The white background contrasting the dark leaves with the flow of the water remind me of a garden fountain. Well done.
Pretty awesome video with a sound that is pleasing to your ear
Great framing and execution. The imagery may have benefited if it was in slow motion or if color was added to the liquid.
