Really interesting idea, however, the gif format takes away from focusing on the flow of the image. Little hard to see what’s happenign.
I really liked the GIF format, this made it easy to follow. You could see a progression of discrete photos that showed the whole impact of the balloon. I really like the effect that this created, good work
The stop-motion feel helped me ‘absorb’ what was going on in each segment of the shot. The choice of music was cool too, made it feel more ‘cutesy’ than ‘western’.
I think this could be framed to show off the parts that work a little more in detail.
I really like the framing of video and the music is nice. The flow is cool to see the motion blur and the shadow of the droplets too.
This is an awesome perspective of the setup. I love the music. The video has a cool and abstract feel.
The frame by frame is a really good artistic touch of showing how the balloon progresses.

Interesting choices, the repeating frames really allow for the evolution of the impact and the flow to be seen. Taking screenshots from a video can sometimes decrease the resolution or introduce artifacting, so you may want to consider using a series of stills in the future.
I love the blurriness of the water because it kind of shows the flow of water, but it would’ve been better if the balloon was focused a little bit better.
The framing was nice and great lighting to capture the shadow of the burst. Each frame definitely has better impact than a quick video would have.
The impact is interesting, and the repetition helps understanding of the flow. The entire video is pretty blurry, and the focus seems to move as the video progresses though.
I really like the music, I think it fits the video really well. I also think you made a good choice by making a slideshow of selected frames. Great work.
Great composition, the shadow is very nice. The screenshots you chose are all very nice physics phenomena.
Certainly an interesting way to compile your video into a gif. The initial focus seems good, the motion blur gets bad in the video though. Not sure if that’s what you were going for. Good job!
I like the repetition here, but the motion blur makes it difficult to make out details. I also like the effect of the shadow and splatter on the backdrop. I think this could be framed to show off the parts that work a little more in detail.
This is interesting with the short frames. The symmetry with the shadows is cool. It might be nice to stay on each frame just a little longer, to be able to really see what is going on, but the overall effect and idea are good.
Being able to see the flow associated with bursting is really helpful. It seems like there isn’t any sheet formation as a result of the small planter size.

The images are a little our of focus, but I like the sorta meditative effect of the video repeating.
I like how the music is in time with the switching of the GIF. The transitions are a little fast and it’s a bit hard to see the water splashing out, maybe consider a bit slower transition between the stills.
I like the way you compensated for the lower framerate this was taken at! I think it was probably the right decision. Would be interesting soht at a higher framerate
Each stage of the film illustrates some form of the impact of the water balloon well. Interesting application of stop motion and repetition to really show the physics of the impact event.
I think your video has great frame with cuctus and its shadow.
I really like the way that the shadows change and can be seen in each frame. The choice to put this on a loop really works well with the music as well.

The blurring of this video adds to the feel of progression of time. I wish there was perhaps more steps in the video so you could see a little more clearly what was going on. It is a little hard to tell that is a water balloon at the start.
You’ve captured the slow motion movement of the water balloon perfectly. The lighting could be increased a bit.
Visuals are interesting and trance inducing. The framing was nice and gives a sense of unease.
