I believe this is an altocumulus lenticularus undulatus in a stable atmosphere, but I’m not sure if the tendrils and variations are fine enough or if it’s close enough to the mountains. It was taken fairly directly overhead facing the engineering center at 91 Deg. East on February the 14th at 10:19 AM and at roughly 40 Degrees, 25″ North and 105 Degrees, 15’50” West (using my Iphone 6S compass and GPS)

Difficult to see actual clouds, but really cool to see the gray scale.

Great image, the grayscale allows the cloud detail to be easily seen. You might consider increasing the contrast slightly so that the background is a darker grey.

There is a lot of “vibration” in this image that is interesting but makes me feel a bit queasy. I like your choice of grayscale to emphasize the form of this undulatus cloud.

The cloud looks cool as is goes from whispy to a more solid cloud. I would have liked to have seen the colors associated with the cloud and the sky that day.
