Above is a video I made showcasing the vibrations in water caused by a subwoofer placed under the table.
(mirrors were placed in post on the last three shots.)

Love the editing, it demonstrates the flow well with plenty of artistic flair
The video is hectic much like the flow. It’s very different than what I’ve seen on flowvis and it’s very interesting.
Cool idea and setup. Great editing with the video. I liked the way you cut the shots together. Nice close ups of the water also.
The editing was well done, and the focus captured the desired phenomenon.
Close ups really captured the sound moving through the water. It had a real concert like feel with adding in the show schedule and everything. Had a whole production feel that I liked. Editing was perfect with the song.
Nice job! Way to be original :D
Nice video editing, pretty cool. Music is also dominating the video
Super cool video, love the music selection and the effects you added into it.
I think the concept of the video was very nicely executed. The editing was really well done and the music fits nicely. Great work
I like the overall editing and feel of the video. The cut scenes add to the drama of video.
I like this a lot. The aesthetics are nice and your post processing is done well. Very entertaining and interesting.
Excellent video, the cinematography is excellent and creates a great mood, I love the mirroring of the image and the flow physics are clearly visible. Though I enjoy the aesthetics of the editing and camerawork, some of the shots were a little out of focus.
I really liked this video. The art that you were able to achieve was awesome. The fluid flow was brief, but I liked the overall wave effect you were able to see.
You definitely achieved that concert feel from your close-up footage as well as your usage of cool, blue-violet lighting. The physics are really clear because of your focus on the water surface in the glass. I enjoyed your transition to a mirrored video during the drop of the music.
Very cool, great video editing and great sync with the music. The color in the video was nice as well. This could be a music video that I’d watch.
That was really well edited, fun to watch! The static lighting helped here, I think. The flow was more visible, but still tough to see due to focus in some instances. Overall I like what you did with this setup quite a bit.
I love how the music in the video lines up with the flow phenomena. Great color and focus in the video. The only thing I would change is how much the camera moves during close-ups of the glass, maybe use a tripod for those shots?
The close ups helps you see what is going on better. The effects makes the video more entertaining as well.
Awesome editing. You captured the fluid physics and also mixed it in an interesting way.
Joe,
The lighting is excellent and I actually found your videography very good for what I have seen in this class. I mean, the music lines up almost perfectly with your cut scenes and your use of post-processing image work was amazing. Best video I’ve seen in a long time.
As with other members of your team, how loud is the subwoofer creating the flow phenomena (standing waves)?
I really like the vibrance of color in this video, as well as the whole idea of trying to bring out a concert feel. Great work!
I like how the ice reflects the fluid movement of water surface. Great job on editing video. You made your video more dramatic.
Sweet editing. Great use of jump cuts and I think you made the ‘shake’ from hand-holding the camera work for you.
The editing really adds to the motion and energy in the video. I like how it all matches with the music. Interesting flow.
I love the idea behind this video and the editing is super well done. It makes it really dramatic and the flow definitely follows the music and tells a story.
The editing and video quality is great, as well as the lighting. The closeups of the fluid were perfect.
Music is engaging and exciting! The flow is really interesting. Well done
I like how the video focuses more on the water flow and the music goes with the video very well.
Awesome video! I really like the indigo color scheme you chose since it portrays a very warm feel. Also, excellent job on the editing.
This came out so well! I really enjoyed watching this! Very fun editing!
I like how the video cuts in and out of different shots. You also did a good job getting close to the flow to show the flow characteristics. I also liked how you mixed in some other shots of things that weren’t the flow to make it more artistic and interesting.
Nice production work. Do you think you could minimize the reflections coming off of the fluid?
Gorgeous editing, and a good zoom-in of the fluid flow. Nicely done!
