The ferrofluid visualizes the magnetic fields of a set of triangular magnets. A direct light shined on the fluid reflects, and helps highlight, the swirling field path.

Great use of lighting to different refractions of lighting on the ferrofluid.
Lovely use of light, the contrast between the black fluid and the reflection draws the eyes
I really like how black the fluid is compared to the white background it adds a lot of contrast to the image that I like.
I love the chocolatey feel of the image, nicely done!
Beautiful! I love the light flows.
Love the lines created by the reflected light – reminds me of transparent lightbulbs where you can see all the exposed wire.
The triangular magnets are visualized very well. The texture on the ferrofluid is very eye-catching and the focus is pretty well done.
Great image, focus and framing are good, though I would have preferred a lower angle so that the detail in the fluid peaks and valleys would be more visible and you could get a sense of their height.
super lovely, i wish you has cropped it more tho.
I love how the magnets make those lines in the fluid it is super cool looking. I think if you could crop all the way to just see the petri dish then more focus would be added to the flow phenomena.
The lines look like something was etched into it. Really love how it all fits together. Nice job!
I really like the chocolate similarities in this image. The triangular magnets is really unique and I like the framing and lighting. The focus is also very well done.
Nice job. A peculiar flow.
Great job on the lighting. The effect is subtle but grabs the attention. Nice job
Really cool image, the waves and lighting and really nice. I think the cropping could be changed however.
Interesting flow. I’m a little bit distracted by the container.
Really like a thick gooey texture
