Wow! Stunning image. The color is very vibrant and there’s a ton of detail to look at. I can even see the texture of the drum head. You’ve also got some nice hard reflections and shadows – the lighting really benefits the image. Is there a way to extract information about the drum’s sound from the pattern it creates on the surface of the water?
I really like this picture. I like the shadow on the drum stick, it really adds a little extra something. I think your focus was great and the flow is exactly what you wanted to capture.
This is a really cool and frenetic picture. The color and drumstick add a lot of energy. I like being able to see all the vibrations in the fluid, especially on the right, it seems like it’s vibrating too much to even touch the drum. Good photo and good editing.
The contrast between the deep red and white drum head is fantastic, it almost looks like a gel they way it is frozen too. Another similar and cool effect I have gotten is by shining a strobe or black light up through a tom head and capturing the splash.
I really enjoy this image. The solid white background helps you focus on the flow. The vibrancy of the red water is beautiful as well. The depth of field really helps make it look unique and you did a really good job with the focus. I don’t know if there’s anything I’d change, this is very well done.
Wow, this great. Great focus, color, lighting, everything is very well done. Leaving the drumstick in the image is cool, it definitely gives us context to what’s going on. Bravo.
Fantastic photo. The red pops out so much. The shadow from the red liquid against the drum is awesome! It would be really cool to try two different viscous fluids with different colors in one hit.
I like that the drumstick is in the frame to show what is causing the effect. The bright color is very clear and I like that you can see the shadows. Maybe you could play with the colors more to see what interesting effects come out of it but defiantly not necessary.
This is probably one of my favorite images. The white background against the red makes it pop. I love being able to see the vibration of the fluid.
I think this is my favorite image! It has a lot of excitement going on. The choice of white was perfect and the red contrast makes it really stand out
Great use of contrasting colors. what was the image manipulation. great use of stop action photography.
Great use of the drum stick in the photo to give the physics some context. The blurred and focused parts are selected well. The bright red is very appealing
The focus and quick shutter speed shows the fluid flow very well. The shadows cast by the fluid also help to accentuate it. I like the colors and the chaotic effect in this photo.
Wow! This image is really striking! I really like the contrast of the red and white. I really like the drum stick being still in the image. I like the water being in focus and the drum stick being kind of blurred.
Good picture. The splash is clear and the lighting was positioned perfectly. The white background makes the picture clear. Great work.
I really like how the water droplets are really in focus but the drumstick is not. I also appreciate the fact that the background is entirely white. What is the liquid on?
I really like the vibrant colors and how clear the image. I also like how the colors and movement fill the image.
Really cool! Like seriously really cool! The flow has a ton of motion and the bright sports on the red liquid have great focus. Vivid colors.
I like the splash effect that you created and I like how the white background with the red liquid. if you played with the focus a little more.
The drum stick adds a nice frame of reference to see how large this puddle is. The water looks like jello which gives me a hunger feeling too.. Nice image!
The image shows pretty good on motion of the fluid. It is pretty good structure of the image (having the stick and fluid combined). Great job.
This is probably one of my favorite images of the bunch. The white background and the red stands out extremely well. I love seeing the vibration within the fluid. The drumstick shows up well, as it is slightly out of the frame, leaving the red as the centerpiece!
Very cool colors!! Why did you leave the drumstick in the photo? Love how the droplets are popping off the page. What is the fluid?
Nice job! I think this image is really nice. The red liquid is super clear and stark against the white background. I like that you have the drumstick in there to give us context of what is happening.
Woah this photo is amazing! The photo really pops and I like how you could still see the drum sticks. The image is very crisp and appealing
Nice focus and shutter speed setting of the image. The sticker makes the image more illustrated what happen in it.
Nice photo, there appears to be a lot of energy from the photo. Good use of coloring, the red pops on the white drum.
This is a really nice shot! I like that the background is uniform.
This picture is super awesome. I was debating doing a similar experiment with water on a cymbal. The timing of this image is spectacular. I wonder how it would have looked at the exact instant that the stick hits the head.
Extremely jealous of your image! The red and white color combination looks great and the image is so sharp. It’s also cropped really well and takes up the majority of the image without cropping anything important out. Only thing I could say is that maybe if you could a way to still capture it without the stick in the image. Not sure how.
