Image of the smoke coming off of a piece of paper after burning. I love the look of the ribbons it created and the layers and colors within it.

really nice! My team did worked on a similar project, and I appreciate how much contrast you were able to capture in the image.

The image is quite clear and detailed so you likely picked a good shutter speed for the smoke movement. Nice work.

The LED lighthing is well designed. The smog dance in the grace way along with the changing of the color. Nice work!

Really nice picture, I like the the glowing, almost neon strands along the ribbons. Good job making the background pure black, it makes the smooth, subtle cool colors really pop.

I really like what you did with the lighting for this photo. The multicolored ribbons with all the light scattering is really cool!

I love the colors and motion of the flame. Good job capturing an aesthetically pleasing shape. The contrast is well edited and the composition is well-balanced. Try using a quicker shutter speed to better prevent motion blur.

Very cool picture, interesting colors in the smoke. The two different colors due to the lighting is interesting. I also enjoy the two major ribbons that split.

I really like the simplicity of this photo and having the smoke nicely lit at the center of the frame. The image is really in focus which looks clean.

I’m jealous of your success capturing smoke as I did not have as much luck. Love all the different colors throughout the smoke

I really like how there is a difference in colors throughout the smoke. We could clearly see the flow of the smoke

The different depths of the smoke is really interesting. The ribbon effect is unique as well. Did you keep the room relatively low external wind contribution? I wonder if you could use some lights to see some other effects?

very nice gradient of colors. The flame almost has a diamond appearance and appears to be reflecting light. Nice use of editing with the background color.

The image is sharp and great focus. I like the editing on the frame (height is larger than width). Great choice

The different layers and colors within the smoke make it interesting to look at. It is easy to follow the flow as it ascends and the colors help to give the image some depth.

This is a fun image! The sharp focus is awesome, and because of the colors it almost seems like flames rather than smoke. Nice job!

I really like how you can clearly track the motion of the smoke from top to bottom of the image. Its also really cool how you got a shot of the smoke before it completely dispursed it the air.

  • This is a great image! The image is very sharp and shows great focus and lighting. I do like that the smoke travels off the image as well, it gives a sense of infinity within the image. As you mentioned, the ribbons are nicely captured as well!
