This is a photo of what appears to be an Altocumulus cloud in an unstable atmosphere taken from the Business Field on the CU campus at sunset.

This is unique because it shows the dispersion of light on part of the clouds. There must be some light getting cut off due to the mountains.
I like the timing you did for this, the sun hitting the clouds on only one part adds a wonderful contrast. The mountains help frame everything really nicely too
Blacking out the bottom of the picture entirely was such a good call, the silhouette effect is really interesting and it’s fun to find shapes in it, like the rooftops, and it also really makes the blues and bright colors on the cloud pop. The dark blue on the cloud looks really cool
Good choice of the picture place. Low exposure of the Flatiorn makes the sky more clear and clouds brighter.
I like the contrast achieved in the image, both in the difference of the clouds and the mountain vs. the sky!
great patch of wispy/puffy clouds. I like the shadow of the mountain in the bottom framing the sky.
I like how the light hits the leftmost and rightmost side of the clouds with the middle of the cloud in the shadow.
The colors are very nice in this image, I like how parts of the clouds are lit up and others are in shadow and you can only see the silhouette.
I like the cloud formation at the bottom left of the image. almost looks like foreshadowing of a tidal-wave.
Nice image – I think the contrast between the clouds and the mountains looks really nice.
Nice pic it is a very interesting splatter of clouds. Like the coloring of the photo with the little bit of orange to the photo.
Classic flattys photo. I appreciate the unique lighting with half the clouds lit, rather than just your average colorful sunset.
I really like the colors within this image. I love that you decided to adjust the contrast of the image to make the mountains just a silhouette. This depicts a nice cloud cluster that I feel I don’t see very often in Colorado.
This image is really interesting, I like how the very tips of the cloud are lit up but the center isn’t, it makes for a really cool effect. Great job!
This could almost be an advertisement for Colorado! Do you see the flag in the clouds? I do. Love the framing of the mountain range.
