Really nice and creative experimental set up. I attempted to capture a similar flow, but had a difficult time controlling how the flow was directed. I needed a solution like this. Really turned out nice.

This is very different looking and I like that you can see the straw that it is coming out of. It gives the photo a bit more character than just having the smoke. It also helps with some color contrast in the image with a black background. The smoke is a little blurry though.

Unique photo. I love the shooting out of the straw, a very powerful jet. I like the lighting as well, it highlights what needs to be highlighted without being distracting.

Good set up here and the absolute black of the background is quite pleasing. I think a slightly higher shutter speed and maybe a slightly different focus would allow you to capture the detail of the smoke a little better though because currently the straw is the sharpest thing in the image.

That’s a beautiful green straw. Interesting stuff going on, especially with the speed drop in the vapor from when it leaves the straw to when it creates the turbulence. Editing of the photo was well done.

This is a beautiful image as the straw is in perfect focus while the smoke is moving fast. I like the tilt in the straw as it makes a unique composition. Great use of colors and contrast.

I like this unique take on the vapor images. The colors really pop, and the motion is extremely evident. It’s interesting seeing the spiral at the top of the plume.

hahha I like this one a lot, the straw is a lot of fun. It also doubles as a line in the image to draw your eyes to the smoke

Good framing and set up for this picture. The green straw definitely adds to it as well. Did you try a faster shutter speed to reduce motion blur?

I like the simplicity of the image of the straw and smoke. The green straw was a nice choice.

Great shot. I really like how you could see the smoke leaving the straw and accumulation forming a spiral ball at the top.

Very sharp image. The lighting along the straw looks great. The flow is little bit blur in a good way, compared with straw. It helps to create different layers between straw and flow. Nice job.

this is a really cool picture and the smoke looks like a little poof ball and you can really see the motion present in the image.

Why did you leave the straw in the image? Very clear Smoke imagery! What was the lighting it hits the smoke in a very nice way.

The picture is very clear and draws attention. Even though it is simple it is very clean and easy to tell what is going on.
