This set of stratocumulus, cumulus , and altocumulus clouds was photographed at sunset during a backpacking trip in Indian Peaks wilderness with a Nikon D5500. The atmosphere was highly unstable.

I think you made the image a little too grainy in post-processing! Cool clouds though!

The clouds remind me of an alien spaceship kind of diving towards the ground. I like the gold illumination on the clouds.

The form and the colors in this image are really really cool. It looks like something I want to take a bite out of. It does look a little grainy, which could have come from weird stuff uploading the image, or from editing the image very heavily, or just from a high ISO initially. What ISO was the picture taken at?
I like that you were able to capture a majority of the height of the cloud, and the three different types of clouds all mixed together.
I really like the contrast you have with the large to small size of the cloud, it creates a really nice depth of field.

I love the cloud you chose to take a picture of. With the tree in the foreground to give the picture some scale the cloud look massive.

The angle of the picture and clouds look like a plume of smoke. It’s very dark which indicates there could’ve been some precipitation under it, though I do not see any
