Clouds First // Peter Rosenthal

My clouds first photo is of fog sitting very low down in Clear Creek Canyon. CAPE was 95.54, which indicates some instability in the atmosphere, but the fog indicates a locally stable altitude/area of the atmosphere. It was taken with my Google Pixel 2 with the camera settings: aperture f/1.8, shutter speed 1/334 seconds, focal length 4.459 mm, and ISO 53.

The SKEW-T plot taken 2 hours after the photo was taken.
The original image scaled down ~70% but no color editing or cropping.
The brightness and contrast settings used in the edited photo.

I like your choice to take an image of fog instead of clouds. It’s nice to have variety with these images and I like your choice in cropping the image to the final size.

It gives a great feeling where I just want to cuddle up indoors and watch the clouds pass. I like the phone line I think it gives a great texture in the image
