I like how you captured the two flame peaks at once. The subject seems very slightly below and left of center, so it may help to crop a thin border off of the right and top sides to make the image more symmetric.

Very cool photo, I like the contrast you were able to portray with the flame and the dark background.

I wonder if it would hold if you used a paper clip and found a way to tie it with thread or a material that helps with that.

Love how the two ends of the flame look like eyes. Great job capturing the image while the curvature of the cotton was still intact.

I think the use of shaped cotton to create peaks of the fire was very innovative.

Other people have already mentioned it, but I also like how it feels like Halloween.

The shape the flame turned out to be is really cool and unique. The small shadow at the bottom really adds to the picture.

Awesome technique for the setup. It sounds like it took some work, but the image is well crafted. I like the 90 deg shot to the rising of the flame. The depth of the shot comes out nice.

I like the way that the flame is illuminating the ground around it, makes it feel very bright and warm. Very cool how the flame curves, I can see how you were going for the smiley face.

I really like the background of your image as well as how you curved the cotton to obtain the peaks in the flame.

I appreciate the close up of the flame, especially on cotton that is 2 cm in length. It’s cool that you were able to capture the peaks of the flames at that scale.

What do you feel the flame is portraying? If you were to make something out of it from the shape?

I like that the focus is on the bottom center of the cotton, instead of trying to focus on the flames coming off of the curved parts.

Given how small the cotton was, your image came out very clear!

It’s awesome how you took such a clear and crisp picture from your samsung device. The flame is perfectly focused sinced you used the ruler and it adds a lot to the picture.
