This video shows the interactions of the molecules between milk and dish soap. Milk has a higher surface tension than that of dish soap. Since dish soap is a surfactant which means any milk which touches the dish soap will have its surface tension reduced and the surrounding milk in turn pulls the affected milk around, which is illustrated by the streaks of color.

Nice choice of music, its definitely a unique sound to accompany a fluids experiment. Did you speed up the video, or was this the original speed it was recorded at? A slower speed may have been more effective at allowing the audience to fully capture the phenomenon taking place.
I agree with others that I think the aluminum tray should have been cropped out of the video. I think it would also be a lot nicer if the camera stayed in one place instead of moving over to the side, and then back.
I think it would improve the effect if the aluminum tray was cropped out. Nice choice of music, though; it really sets the mood for the visuals.
Cool video, I think it would be interesting if you recorded in a glass container at different angles.
The video looks a little out of focus bit I’m still able to see some nice movement in color.
I wish your camera/setup didn’t move and your video was slowed down.
I wonder if your phone camera can capture a clearer, more focused image
I think the video ended too soon. Really great phenomena you should have made it longer. Otherwise really good idea and I love the colors!
Love the music! Also, great job capturing the flow
Really great music choice and interesting phenomenon! Great focus.
I like the speed of the video and how you can see the flow of the color away from each end of the Q-tip. That flow reminds me of how the polarity of a magnet is visualized in physics.
I love the sound that comes with this video and just how the color mixes. This look like something out of this world, like a video of the universe over time.
I really like the pairing of the music with the video, it creates an alien feel to the motion. I would recommend a video of just the liquid and not the baking pan, this might eliminate the distraction of the edge of the pan.
I really enjoy the different colors and how they all mix together and flow by each other.
Trippy
I like the variety of colors that you chose to include. I think that made the phenomenon much clearer.
I think this is such a cool effect! I love the movement in the colors, but the container was a little distracting. It would be interesting if you framed the milk/food coloring without the silver container!
I like the varying amount of colors used in combination with the milk.
Great video and choice of music. I wish you made it a little longer, so we can enjoy the phenomenal more.
I really like the music, it was very surprising, but definitely fit the mood of the flow
The sound accompanying the video leaves an uneasy feel. Cool affect.
The audio is very fun for the video and the visualization goes with it perfectly. I love the colors used in the video. The aluminum tin reflects the colors nicely.
You did a great job capturing this flow, the food coloring works really well along with the creepy music.
The music is amazing, it gives it a unique feel.
I would keep the camera on a tripod, just to get rid of the movement throughout the video
Fun video, I really like the music choice. Looks cool
The audio background went with the video, I was shook all the way through.
This was really fun to see. What made you choose that container?
This is such an interesting video. The phenomenon is honestly a little gross and freaks me out to watch, but I love how you were able to capture this uncomfortably in a video.
