The little sparks of light are actually particles of salt igniting, creating a particle effect. The alcohol produces the blue flame and the salt produces the yellow/orange flame.

Wow, this looks like a rain of fire. Very cool and scary.
What was your ISO? The image appears a tad grainy towards the middle.
The texture of the foil gives this image a cool effect. The streaks are interesting to look at.
