The disturbance at the top of the water creates a very interesting shape, and because you were able to capture what happened above and below the surface (in reference to the edge of the liquid), it looks like there is a piece of ice floating in the middle.
I would like the graininess of the top image blended with the white background.
The color inversion and editing made the image really nice to look at. The droplets have a graceful feel to them. Almost looks like a water color painting, and I think that Byron is right about try to white out the rim of the glass.
I love the shape of the fluid in the glass.

I am curious as to what this image would look like when the colors are not inverted.

I like the turbulence that occurs front he droplets. Interesting time frame you captured of the drop
The shape of the water droplet reminds me of an iceberg, especially with the blue and white coloring.
