This photoshoot from Fabian Oefner is a prime example of art and engineering captured together. Oefner, a videographer and photographer constantly is working between the worlds of air and science. This photo shows the use of UV paint, a wind tunnel, and a Ferrari California. Oefner is able to highlight the path of the liquid over the car using UV paint splattered with air speeds over 100 mph. The science behind the aerodynamics and surface tension is impressive and interesting, although the beauty of the vehicle and paint creates a stunning image.

This is my second choice for the best of web. I really enjoy the streaks of colors on the car, and the contrast of the colors and the streaks make a lightning effect.
This one takes first place for me. The use of the UV paint in the wind tunnel is so visually stimulating that it makes the different velocity steams and wind tunnel fluid dynamics appealing to a large audience, a truly interesting intersection of art and science.
This is my number one choice. I really like the contrast between the black car and background with the UV paint. The UV paint makes each individual color stand out which allows you to follow the flow of the paint around the car’s surface.

This is a gorgeous picture with vibrant colors and intricate patterns. It is also interesting that it shows the interaction between two fluid (air and paint) on the surface of the vehicle.
This is my number one choice! I love the choice of bright choice of colors on the black car to visually show the air flow.
This is my number two choice! I think the color combinations look super vibrant and interesting, and I love how it visualizes the fluid flow around the car.
Third place for Best of Web for me! I love how you can see with such detail so many of the individual paint streaks and the bright colors against the black background create a magnificent contrast. Really beautiful image. I especially like the bright pink/orange glow of the floor at the center of the image.
This is my #2 choice, I love the practicality (aerodynamics) and artistic combination.
