Colton Oglesbee // Image – Video 2

This image was taken on a Cannon 6D Mark II using a zoom lens (24-105mm). This image was taken to show the bending water using static electricity, and in this example a plastic comb is used to hold the charge.

I love how in focus the comb and water are. The use of static electricity to bend the water is also very creative.

I really like the balance between light and dark in this image, especially seen from the top to the bottom of the stream.

Awesome picture, Colton! Very sharp focus, really like how you left the background blurred. Also love the continuous stream of water being bent. Great idea for the flow phenomenon. Would try and get less reflection in the image if you were to have another go. Nice work!

The entire steady stream of the faucet being directed by the negative ions is captured very nicely in this image. I love how you can follow the stream from start to finish.

The image focus is really crisp, and the light that was used is reflected in the stream which illuminates this phenomenon nicely

I really like how the background is out of focus. It keeps the viewer’s focus on the water and the comb so that none of the background is distracting.

This photo was great at capturing the bend of the water due to static. It’s a great clear image.
