SUMMER | DOLOMITES 8K TIMELAPSE by Timestorm Films

As a landscape photographer outside of my engineering degree, one of the most intriguing aspects of flow visualization is anything involving clouds. This time lapse of clouds at the Italian Dolomites really exemplifies how the physics of these clouds can become art. It’s hard not to have a beautiful scene in this location, but combined with the almost wave-like crashing of the clouds against the jagged mountains, it becomes an awe inspiring view. Understanding the complexity and cause of this type of phenomenon is one of the reasons I became interested in flow visualization and will become a way for me to find more art like this in my life.
