This video was made by a man named Steven Trainoff. The video shows in slow-mo the interaction between a water droplet and the surface tension of water. I love this video because it seems so uncanny to see water bouncing on water, and yet this phenomenon like this happens all the time on the micro and fast scale of fluids. What is even more interesting is to see the water droplet so suddenly shed parts of its volume instantaneously even in high-speed footage.

Third Prize – This is a cool flow visualization video. I like how it allows us to visualize the surface tension of water on the micro level. I believe it would be much more interesting to see the video in colors.
