I captured this image on December 1, 2021 at approximately 9:50AM MDT. I was standing in the fields next to the Business building and chose to capture these clouds as I was walking from the parking structure. What stood out to me was how large the lower altitude cloud was. It seemed to stretch for miles. But upon closer inspection the higher altitude clouds in the upper left corner of the image were also very interesting. Several rollups can be seen, and they are a perfect example of Kelvin-Helmholtz (KH) instability.
From the Skew-T plot we can see that the atmosphere appears to be stable.
