Fog from a fog machine captures blue and red light. For this picture, my team and I used a fog machine to create a billow of smoke, we then lit the fog using head lamps that we held pieces of red and blue film over. Since there was very little light for this photo, it was taken at night in a dark room, most of my editing went to cleaning the graininess. I chose this photo because I liked all the different movement that can be seen within the fog.

This picture was taken in collaboration with Lana Pivarnik, Robbie Cooper, and Cole Smith.

This reminds me of what things look like through 3D glasses. The denoise tool looks like it worked well.

I think you did a really nice job lighting it and coloring it. It is very beautiful and the really dark background is nice.

The lighting on this image is awesome and having seen the setup I’m really glad it turned out as clear as intended with the melding of colors on opposite sides.

I really enjoyed your color choice for this image. The red and blue complement each other really well, and the combination of the two into an almost lavender purple is fantastic.

I like the streams of fog, particularly on the edges of the image. It gives the image a sense of motion and adds a lot of fun swirls and vortices.

Your lighting is outstanding! Seeing the blend of the red and blue in the purple is super awesome.
