Love the slow motion of this experiment. It captures the moment you see the the goop act like a solid then behave like a liquid. The video was really well done.
I love how unique this experiment is. The idea is very cool and fun.
I like this experiment/video a lot because of the crazy explosions that it produced. I think the contrast between the first and second takes is also awesome as it demonstrates the unexpected ways in which non-Newtonian fluids can act (fracture like a solid, or maintaining structure for a period of time then liquefying.
I think this experiment is super fun, it was fun to set up. The multiple takes showed two different but very interesting sides of oobleck properties. You did a great job!
I really liked how fun this idea was. It was really cool to see how long it acted like a solid. I also think the 2 different experiments provided lots of insight into the properties of cornstarch and water.
To answer your questions about length of the video, I think although it is long, the different speeds help you notice different things.
I like that you included the different speeds! It makes it really interesting to watch. This captures flow vis really well!
What a FUN EXPERIMENT!! This video shows the characteristics of the non-Newtonian fluid in an incredible way: from solid to liquid. The first take is great because it holds its shape, and the second one is amazing because the oobleq shatters and then becomes a puddle, it’s so unexpected and delightful.
