I love the sparkles of the tiny droplets at the top of the splash.
The pit where the rock hits the water is really cool. Also, the framing and crop is done well. It could be nice to get a more sever perspective, where you can really highlight that pit.
I think that the timing and distance of this image are both very impressive given the context. First of all nice job getting it in focus in regards to where it hit, since it’s difficult to know exactly where the rock will land when throwing it, and second of all nice job capturing it at a moment where you can still see the initial impact from the rock and even see the rock reflecting up off the water.
I like the symmetrical wings that protrude from the water into the sky. The thin film of water and drops is a great view of gravity and surface tension.
I really like that you can see how much water is being displaced after the skip. There is such a large hole under the splash that is usually not visible
The fact you were able to get such an in-focus photo of something so dynamic is really impressive. I also really like that we can still see the projectile in the air.
