This is a picture of a storm creeping over the continental divide and tumbling down the foothills onto Boulder, CO.

The skew T shows a CAPE of 656.6 indicating severe atmospheric instability, which agrees with my observation of the storm. The clouds in the foreground are cumulus congestus and the clouds in the background are likely altocumulus, even though the skew T shows the upper clouds being in the realm you would expect to find cirrus clouds.

I like how your editing made the mountain range more of a silhouette. This places more focus on the clouds. I also like how unsaturated the image is, at first I thought it was black and white.

These clouds are so foreboding, almost like a wave coming over the mountains.

This image is gorgeous and extremely dramatic– it reminds me of something by Ansel Adams! You did a great job capturing the clouds peeking over the mountains, and the gradient from light to dark makes the image feel quite ominous.

I love how dark the image is with the exception of the light details of the cloud.

The clouds look very ominous, I like your editing choices with rather dingy colors but still a ton of detail and bright white spots to contrast the darkness.
