I really like the perspective of this shot, the flat orange base tells us the water is lowing on a flat surface and the curves show what the water is flowing over. The water flowing over the humps is really smooth and very pleasing to observe.
The coloration in this photo is really cool and understanding the reason behind why the orange flume base in the bottom of the photo is on a slight diagonal was very helpful.
I really like the texture that this photo has, its very smooth feeling. I also really like the wide aspect ratio in this photo, it accentuates the type of flow being shown.
I was confused by why you left the orange part in, but now I understand your reasoning and I agree that it adds context to the image.
I really liked the angle that this image was taken at to show the object in the flume as almost two dimensional while the water flow is three dimensional. It takes away any distraction from the actual flow. Great job!
I really like the angle that you took this picture from. The shadows that you capture on the left are really cool!
I really like the orange color at the bottom, it pops. I like the different flow characteristics above the different sections of the feature.
