I really like the lighting effect in this photo. The different clouds are illuminated in an appealingly nonuniform way. Good job!
Usually I see clouds as obstacles in the sky, but here it looks like the sky is breaking up the clouds. It’s like a cookie cutter sliced through the clouds to open up the sky. Really cool lookin!
Incredible shot. I’ve wanted to go there for a while and now I’m hoping I see something this stunning
Super cool, I’ve never seen a Skew-T like that, it’s so smooth and has very few horizontal lines. I’ve always wanted to go to the top of pikes peak, but it’s often closed due to weather.
I really like how expansive this image is. The space between the clouds is a good aspect.
Really pretty landscape, it’s cool seeing some afternoon clouds on a 14er in the winter!
I like the idea of capturing different layers of clouds and having the mountains as well.
The high vantage point lets you see such a huge sweeping landscape, while being relatively close to the ‘ceiling’ of clouds. This image is so cool!
