Science: This particular formation, Lenticular clouds occur when moist air rolls over the eddies produced by large geographical features (a mountain range in this case) and generate a standing wave of air. The highest portions condense and form the clouds.
Art: Every evening the sun sets the sky on fire. We enjoy the beauty and we question what fairies hide at the bottom of the garden.

Hey Zach!
Great cloud selection! This would have made a great piece to write a report on later in the year. Good selection for best of web. This image shows the subtleties of fluid flow at different elevations in the sky. Great selection!
