This image captures moments right after a flavorless gelatin is spread across cold water. The reaction of collagen shrinks the volume and thus the surface of the water. This effect leaves this wrinkled skin look to the waters surface tension with the air and dish.

I really like the texture of the gelatin, it’s super funky looking. I’m super curious about more of the physics!
