I thought the image you captured was very impressive considering the timing you must’ve needed to get the perfect shot. Additionally, I think the black background provides a very good contrast for the flow making it stand out more. I think the subtle lighting also provides a spotlight effect that really improves the final image. Good job.
I really like the motion you can see in this image and the lighting from the side. This was a creative setup that I think can create some really impactful images. Like Bradley said, I would play around with higher shutter speeds or even a high-speed camera. We could even play with some laser lighting sources. That said, the motion blur seems impactful in its own way here. It really conveys the motion in the setup. Good work!
I really like the lighting on this image, the black background with some light coming in from the top right gives the image a sort of spooky vibe. I think it may be rewarding to play around with this setup again with a higher shutter speed to reduce some of the motion blur, but the composition and lighting are excellent.
