I took this photo while walking with some friends, in Boulder, and was overcome with the beauty of the sky during sunset. I chose to edit the color scheme because I felt that the pink, light tone my camera picked up was not representative of the red and dramatic view I saw. Additionally, I felt this time of year (close to Halloween) needed a cloud picture that represents the spooky atmosphere! As I was not expecting to see such a stunning display of clouds, this photo was taken on my iPhone 12 Pro and is not the best quality. I believe that these clouds are cirrus clouds, and were much more wispy in person, with relatively stable atmospheric conditions. The settings on my camera were: f/2, 1/100sec, ISO 100, and EXP 0. This photo was also taken on 10/17/23 at 6:20pm.
