Stella Meillon Clouds Second

Photo taken Nov. 1 2023, facing north west from the CU Boulder campus.

The clouds represent Altocumulus lenticularis and cumulus clouds, which expand out from a more compact base. I believe it may be lenticular because the clouds seemed to form parallel to the wind direction and seem to take on a saucer-like shape. These clouds form in the troposphere.

    The shape of the clouds captured imparts a sense of motion to the picture which is really interesting to see.
