The clouds represent Altocumulus lenticularis and cumulus clouds, which expand out from a more compact base. I believe it may be lenticular because the clouds seemed to form parallel to the wind direction and seem to take on a saucer-like shape. These clouds form in the troposphere.

Your picture is very similar to mine (likely because it was on the same day! The landscape included in your image is very nice and compliments the image well, Nice job!
The shape of the clouds captured imparts a sense of motion to the picture which is really interesting to see.
