This picture illustrates a 2D cross-section of turbulent flow generated by directing a laser into a thin glass cylinder to form a circular plane. We implemented a fog machine to expel dense fog into the plane, particularly near the location where the light intersects with a solid background. The fog’s distribution reveals that the flow originates close to the point where the laser contacts the wall, moving towards the upper right side of the image and gradually dispersing. The image captures a captivating representation of turbulence, showcasing numerous vortices and chaotic patterns as well as capturing a cool streak from the laser with brighter regions indicating higher light reflection off fog particles. leo, I think the idea behind this picture is really cool. I am jealous of the decision to use the laser. I think the laser in the middle is most interesting and maybe wouldv been beneficial to focus on

I really like the bright white that you were able to capture within the red. It really draws your eye from the center of the circle to the edge and then around. I also think that the angle you chose to shoot this photo from is really interesting. Overall really cool image.
