This picture captures a wall made from a water drop hitting the sidewalk. The shape with ridges to the lower lift is the shadow cast from the wall.
The image was taken with a Canon EOS 40D. The following settings were used:
ISO: 800; 41 mm lens; f/4; Shutter speed: 1/8000s

LOVE the color in this photo. The shadow in the splash is really something special. I think its is almost more interesting the splash itself. The amount of particles in the picture really adds to the motion and texture that comes across the screen. Great work!
The editing here I think makes the image shine. I never thought looking at water splashing ond concrete would look so interesting. The color channel shift is an interesting choice that I think actually helps the appeal of the image. Nicely done!

I like that you decided to change the color of the sidewalk, it adds a lot to the image and makes it more aesthetically pleasing. I think it also helps the flow be more clear, so great job!

After reading your little blurb about the image I think it is so appealing that this is a sidewalk. Did you edit the sidewalk green or was it already that color? The green background to the water drop really drew me in because it is not a natural color.

Thanks for your comment! I edited the color of the sidewalk on Darktable to try to draw out the water splashing upwards.
