I think this is my favorite image of the class. It is so beautiful, and the highlights/reflections accentuate it. This image reminds me of art from Hajime Sorayama and the colors and reflections he uses.

    Hi Qisheng,

The amount of detail you were able to capture in this photo is very impressive. The lighting you have also adds to the overall piece and helps highlight every spike in the frame.

The lighting in this picture is CRAZY good. I love how the fluid is warping the light.

This is absolutely incredible. The use of lighting makes it not even look real like it was an old 90s animation! My group also did ferrofluid, I wish we had considered extra light sources!

Excellent lighting – I like the way you cropped the image to include the yellow boundary in the upper back ground. It provides context for the yellow reflections on the ferro fluid spikes. Those rings help clarify the ferro fluid shape and emphasizes the fluid texture of the magnetic field structure.

This is a super cool image. I love how you can see the reflections from the yellow cap on the different spikes, as well as the image being so focused.

    Hi Qisheng
The image really invokes a sci-fi aesthetic the moment one looks at it. The sharp reflections on the ferrofluid spikes, the fogginess that is prevalent on the right side of the image, the slight diffusion of the specular reflection of the light source, all of this add to the aesthetics of the image.
    Great job!

    Hello Qisheng,
I really like the highlights that are included in this image. They make the ferrofluid really shiny and almost add texture. I think it benefit from cropping out the yellow part or making the image black and white so that it doesn’t pull away from the main focus.
