“Mind your Head” was taken using an empty plastic bottle filled with water, which was stirred until a “dip” was visible using a spoon. Once a powerful enough vortex had been created, I dropped in red dyed pearl couscous to make the phenomenon visible. Note that the audio used in this clip was created by AI (Brev.ai).
The vortex shown is the result of varying levels of angular momentum within the bottle. As can be seen, particles towards the outside of the flow are moving considerably faster than those in the middle, which creates a simulated pressure differential visible in the central “dip”. White poster-board was used in the background to highlight the movement of the couscous and add to overall aesthetic appeal.

You captured an amazing whirlpool effect, and your choice of beads for motion visualization was brilliant. It adds so much depth and movement to the image!
