Two Vortex Rings Colliding in SLOW MOTION

This video Shows what happens when two vortex rings collide. when they collide head on smaller vortex rings are formed in a radial pattern around the point of impact, this phenomenon is not fully understood. It is an excellent example of the fact that there are still things about fluid dynamics that we do not fully understand, plus the visuals from after the smoke rings meet is stunning.
